I was at the store and much to my surprise I found Gadget on the cover of something less than 20 years old!
So, here’s your Lorcana topic (featuring the Rescue Rangers… And Zipper). Anyone playing the card game? I almost bought it, but I was a huge Magic the Gathering sucker in my younger days and I tell ya, it’s as costly as a coke habit. I just wasn’t ready to get sucked in again to the land of cardboard crack.
I used to play Decipher’s Star Wars CCG so yeah, I don’t have that sort of spare money today to float on playing a new card game. Or the time to even go to tournaments etc. Is rather amazing they’ve already got six sets out though, I guess there isn’t much time spent between set (4-6 months?).
Needless to say the best version of Gadget is the rarest of the entire RR card set (aside from the alt images which are rarer)
Has an air of Agatha Heterodyne to the design there
And it even has some flavor text taken from the actual show that wasn’t just made up!? My standards in modern times (heh) are impossibly low, that’s a given, but I’m still impressed.
