They improved the ponies!! Look at how much better they look compared the the first teaser trailer

I am still not over my WTF? moment from the first time seeing them. I mean, I guess they got Hasbro’s permission but it feels like Monty Python meets Big Lipped Alligator Moment.

I had to look that up. I thought it was a All dogs blah blah blah reference but still.

There was some speculation on the EQD post, IIRC, that Hasbro either also didn’t care for the previous models or took note of other people not caring for them and just gave Disney access to the models used in the G4 movie.
